Dispute Resolution

The Ohio Manufactured Homes Commission offers Dispute Resolution Services for the following:

  1)   Warranty issues involving new manufactured homes.
  2)   Correction or Repair of Defects in manufactured housing.
  3)   Installation of manufactured housing as performed by an OMHC licensed Installer.


The request for Dispute Resolution Services should be received by the Commission within one year from the date the home was installed.
A form to request services is also available. This form must be downloaded and mailed into the Commission: Form to Request Dispute Resolution Services 
All dispute resolution notifications, complaints and final resolutions must be submitted and completed in writing. 
A homeowner who performs his/her own installation may void the warranty on the manufactured home and will eliminate being qualified for the OMHC dispute resolution program.
